We have recently been undertaking maintenance and improvement works to the new cycle track network installed within the Lowther Estate.
Following the cutting back of vegetation by our Arb team, our fencing operatives; James and Will have been erecting timber post and rail fencing. Creating safety barriers as part of the access and improvements to the cycle way network.
The cycle way is now open to the general public. Lowther Castle along with Arragon’s Cycles of Penrith are offering the opportunity to hire bikes. There are eBikes (pedal-assist), trail bikes and children’s bikes, bookings can be made here www.arragons.com/hire.
