The annual Christmas jumper day for the head office staff here at Lowther Castle brighten up what was a rainy overcast day on Thursday 7th December 2023. A wonderful range of Christmas jumpers were on display. Stylish Fair Isle designed jumpers, jumpers with flashing lights, green sequined Christmas trees that turned red when moved, skiing Santa’s, dogs and dinosaurs adorned many Christmas jumpers. Even the Managers and Directors who were working from home that day submitted their entries.
Whilst this was a fun event for the office staff it raised much needed funds for the local school. Claire Ramsden the winner of the best Christmas Jumper on the day presented Carla Weild the Head Teacher of Lowther Endowed School with a cheque for £310.
