Tree Planting has Started on the A14

Tree planting has begun in earnest on Highway’s England A14 Cambridge to Huntingdon improvement scheme under delivery by the A14 IDT. Over the next 21 weeks we will plant and protect over 668K native trees and shrubs, including the creation of over 29.5 miles of new native hedgerow. The establishing woodland will not only provide an enriched wildlife habitat but will also mitigate the effects of noise pollution from the new highway.
